pumpkin patch

Boris and Liam's first experience at a pumpkin patch. This week Liam was sick with a cold we were home tired and bored all week, but along came Friday (papito's) Day off that's my Daddy in spanish, and since Liam was feeling better, we visited the pumpkin patch near our place, it was small but cute i really did enjoy taking pictures of Liam and looking at the weird pumpkins.

soccer game

Boris is a big soccer fan this weekend Ecuador qualify for the world cup, Boris was super excited but the reason why i decide to blog about this is because something interesting happened well at least to me it was interesting.
I usually make him watch his soccer games with low volume and I always remind him to not scream if they baby is sleeping with a strict voice, since this is for the world cup i didn't mention anything, at the beginning of the game Boris said Quote (I'm warning you this is a special game for me so I'm not holding back, Im going to scream and shout even if Liam is at sleep) I stood quiet and thought to my self wow!!! really?? This guy really is excited but will he really wake up the baby if he falls at sleep? so as I waited and feed Liam trying to put him down for his nap the game starts and so i was expecting the worst, to my surprise Boris did not shout or scream at all as soon as He notice Liam at sleep Boris reaction was as a father would react he didnt scream No screaming over a game I love Boris I love my son and he is our priority now.

Liam's first party invitation

This weekend was a busy and fun, with a full schedule for us but everything went great
Liam was invited to 1st birth day party she is the daughter of a new friend i meet at the Library in the mother goose program she is really nice. The party was so cute with lots of food, Liam got a little overwhelmed for all those people in the same day ha ha! but we had a nice time! socializing is always good, I like meeting new people but I am not the type that would keep up with a conversation since I am kinda shy i run out of subjects sometimes haha! overall when we came out of my friends house The Hubby and I were very happy, and glad that we were able to attend.

New Toys??????
not really!!! Out of all the toys he has Liam likes to play with kitchen toperware TV remote controls, cell phone, Keys, almost anything that is not safe for infants NOw that he started crawling i find him in the kitchen more and more maybe I need to get out of that kitchen and cook less hahaha!

OH scary day!

Today was a scary day!!!!! for the first time I felt useless, a failure as a mom going out to the Doctor   I felt with Liam in my arms I know!! OH My! how is that possible right? so Liam has been running a high fever for 3 days and My poor Baby has had a terrible day already so if that's not enough we go on our way to see the Doctor, well Gravity got the best of me i did not see a hole on the sidewalk near the parking lot and so I felt, everything happened so fast,
 but I do remember thinking of Liam and saving his  head from hitting the ground.
 I was not trying to be a Hero at all but, my automatic reaction was my Baby!!
 I try landing with my knee first to avoid Liam touching the ground, my knee and elbow got it the worst I was terrified thinking oh no I smashed my baby or even worst,
 thankfully there were others to help me get up like Jesse my neighbor/friend and the maintenance guy from our building. I was in shock expecting the worst but i was blessed that nothing major happened to Liam and that's all I care.

first time crawling

YEY!!!! He did it He finally started crawling we are soooooo!! excited.
Liam is growing so fast that I just want to hold on to him longer.
 He is now 8 months and the days are just going fast.
I am very proud of him, he is such a cutie crawling he is kind of slow but that's ok.
October 1st he showed signs of wanting to advance I noticed he wanted to crawl but I didn't push him instead I waited for Dad to come Home and for him to see on his own maybe it was just my imagination Ha!
then Dad saw him and said yeah he is so ready to crawl, so Oct 2nd comes and Boom he just started crawling he looks like a turtle slowly but surly. Dad came Home that day from work and we both almost cry of Happiness.  We love this chunky Monkey so much.
