weekends were made for family

I love the fact that Boris has every other friday off so we get to do family fun stuff
for instance over the weekend we went to eat a FRIDAY's restaurant by the way we used the $50.00 dollar gift card that I won at the Library reading club contest that was awesome anyways
we ate ribs steak but the best part was desert mmmm yummy delicious cake with ice-cream on top over on saturday we had EMPANADAS Argentinas yummy the best empanadas in Houston also we went to Galleria mall to do some shopping it was such a great day we are Blessed with Boris Great job opportunity I love the weekend because they were made for family.

Birthday Celebrations

Its an exciting time around March for both my Husband and I
 His birthday is on the 6 and mine is on the 8 we celebrated His twice one at texas Road house and I took him to RUSSO's Pizza great food  He took me to this great place where we eat pork chops they were delicious we also went to play at the game center and had a fun day but most important I got to see my son and Husband and that's all it matters I must also mention the cute little things i got in the mail a drawing from my brother Jaime and a letter with a picture from Bri my Brianita Aly and my sister Adriana I miss those crazy girls

Baby Steps!

14 moths and Liam is walking I can't say finally because i really hoped for him to stay little for EVER!!
but I must accept reality and look on the positive side Anew stage for all 3 of us He looks excited exploring new ways to get around the house He is just a wonderful baby
Even though sometimes i wonder where he gets a little attitude I am okay with dealing with it he is not a cry baby he is a good boy he understand a lot of the things i tell him and he is usually really good at following directions without crying
thursday March 19 he took the longest steps ever at the playground at the mall
friday 20 at the library new record of even longer steps with no help
both sat and sunday he just seemed natural to him walking around the house
I am excited but sad he is growing super fast I'm happy is mine all mine oh and my husbands too haha!

Books! Books! Books!

There is something about books!!
 Liam seems to enjoy story time or perhaps it's the fact that  I got him used to with our daily routine and library trips well!!!! what ever the reason may be I'm Glad to be able to read to Liam I am Happy that he loves story time with Mom and Dad.

dinner time

Liam is 13 months now He is such a great eater. He loves food but hates wearing a bib Haha! he can eat almost anything but specially cheese, beans, rice, mashed potatoes, vegetable soups, noodles, chicken, pear, banana,peach,tangerines, apples and here are some of my favorite pictures during lunch and dinner.

Houston Zoo

Another Zoo trip  this time Boris Mom came along and Liam seemed to be more alert onto what's going on. Also something I had never seen before baby Elephant the latest attraction at the zoo.This time we also bought Wendy's food since our last experience with the food inside the zoo was not good at all we had fun and Liam was happy to see all the animals specially the elephant, giraffe and lion.

Valentine's Day as we know it
AAAHHH Love Day! this year Valentines Day was fun yet romantic
for the first time ever since Liam was born Boris and I went out on a Date a 2 hour date.
Do you know what that means? It means I was away from my son my love my heart my joy my everything to spend 2 hours with my first love it was scary at first but after crying and crying I realized that my marriage is just as important as my child I needed to spend time with my Husband I needed to get all pretty wear high heels use my fancy purse with no diapers in it. Boris had a surprised for me He wanted our first Date to be special so He took me to a restaurant/movie theatre it was pretty amazing we got to watch a movie while ordering food and eating it was just great but most important was that Boris and I were able to feel romance we were like 2 teens having a blast like if it was our first date.
It was amazing I realized I am still in love with such an amazing Boyfriend Husband and Father.
Liam and I did some heart art and read love stories at toddlers class.
 early in the morning I made heart shape pancakes
then Boris and I went on our Date and ended our day with a walk at the park it was such a lovely Day.

potty training

potty training at 12 months Liam is such a smart little 1 year old or so i want to believe that ha!

I am proud to say that Liam did his first #2 on the potty seat 

Its kind a hard to teach a 1year old that is not even walking but i started thinking of the amount of money The Hubby and I  can save from all the diapers 

We decide to buy a potty just something basic and see how it turns out 

well so far Its going GREAT!! He has pooped 3 times we are just excited that Liam is catching on fast 

I just want him to get used to it so by the time he starts walking he'll be able to walk towards the potty and do it on his own

 I'm so happy and Glad that I get to stay home and watch him grow.
according to my Mom's advice was to watch him carefully and see where his favorite spot is as soon as he starts pushing and place the potty there. well that spot was near the living room behind his high chair. for about 3 or 4 weeks he would quietly hide behind his high chair usually mornings or after lunch. I placed the potty there its kind of yucky if you think about doing #2 near the place you eat Hahahaha! but its working and I will continue to do so until he catches on and eventually move the potty to the restroom.

cuddling time

By far one of my favorite part of the day "cuddle Time"

I can be tired, grumpy, hungry, and sleepy but cuddling with Liam is something I never imagined feeling.

It really makes me forget about my worries.Liam also loves to play peekaboo with his favorite blanket

 I love cuddling time specially after he wakes up from a nap he is such a sweet boy

 love him to pieces I adore him and everyday I thank God for such a beautiful blessing.
